Brewing and aging:
Duet Lex is a high-end selected series of blended dry red that perfectly presents the pure terroir of the Slovenian classical producing area Balda. Picked from high-quality vineyards, 90-120 meters above sea level, relying on the landmark mud limestone soil in the production area, it gives the wine body a clear mineral feeling and tight structure. It is hand-picked in mid-October, and after soaking for more than 15 days, it has been matured in a new French oak barrel for about 36 months. Then transfer to 2-3000 liters of Slavonia vats for 8 months, but the filter is not turned into bottles, which completely retains the body texture and purity of the wine. Bottled aging for 6 months, aging potential is more than 20 years.
Color: Intense dark ruby color
Fragrance: You can feel the multi-layered black and red fruity aromas, with complex blackcurrants, high-quality tobacco, licorice aroma and strong pungent Spicy and Mediterranean spices, blooming in the full body with the aroma of cigar boxes, coffee, pepper and mint.
Taste: The acidity is balanced, the tannins are delicate and stable, complex and elegant. The aftertaste is long and warm.
