On the western part of Balda, Slovenia, which borders Italy, there is a small village called Neblo, where the Gannu winery is located here.
The winery has firm beliefs in all dynasties, follows the rules of nature, and reflects the terroir to the greatest extent, and firmly believes that good wines start from the vineyards.
After the inheritance and development of the family, now the owner Borut takes over, and 25,000 vines are carefully managed, and 50,000 bottles of wine are brewed every year.
Each wine has its own characteristics, and each wine has its own story, but without exception, all this reflects the local people and the countryside. It is the mud lime that nourishes the vines, the warm sun that shines on the vines, the greetings from the warm sea breeze of the Adriatic Sea, and the tempering of the cool and cool mountain wind of the Alps.
These unique terroir conditions give the wine a round, structural and rich mineral feel.
There are two main types of wines made by the winery:
1) Fresh and easy-to-drink wines: Merlot, Pinot Grey, Pino and Sauvignon Blanc;
2) Complex and excellent wines, including fresh wines such as Sauvignon Sauvignon, Ribla and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as Jama, Augustus Sauvignon Sauvignon and Brjač Mello – selected the best grapes and the best years to make their terroir.
