Oldest winery
In 1239, Ptuj has inherited the wine manufacturing process to the greatest extent, and is the oldest wine cellar in Slovenia, with modern and trendy high-quality grapes. The wine series is not only the local, but also the most award-winning wine brand in the entire large area (Slovenia, Austria, Croatia, northern Italy and Hungary).
The winery is named after the city, and the city is proud of the winery. The ancient wine cellar has been baptized by two world wars. The current vintage of the winery is 1917. The old wine cellar is now the National Wine Museum. Over 10,000 visitors a year.

• Ptujska Klet wine cellar is one of the oldest wineries in Europe. The winery has the most important wine archives in Central and Europe, and it houses the oldest wines in Slovenia – 1917 and many award-winning wines.
• Today, Ptujska Klet Cellar focuses on making wines with cool climate styles, and the selection of varieties include Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Griss, Chardonnay, Blue Frank, Qiongzhao pulp, yellow musk, etc. These wines are famous for their vibrant, balanced structure and outstanding fruit aroma. The winery adheres to the brewing process that combines tradition and modernity, including fermentation of stainless steel cans, aging of large wooden barrels, and a more complex wine through the maturation of small barrick oak barrels.

• Our annual output is about 1 million liters. The grapes are collected from about 250 hectares of the vineyards of the prestigious Harroser and Slovenia Gorica hills in the Štajerska Slovenija wine region. We pay attention to manual picking, while respecting tradition and taking into account modern technology to ensure quality.
