UROS VALL
Winemaker | The owner
When Uros was four years old, his mother began to grow vineyards. The mother personally planted the vines one after another into the ground one after another. As everyone knows, under the subtle way, the deep heart of the young Us sprouted a love for wine planting and brewing.
Due to the inheritance of the family tradition and the high enthusiasm for winemaking, Uros became a professional winemaker in 1999, brewing his first wine, and won the second place in the international wine competition. He was only 21 years old that year.
With age, uros no longer pursues the best wines, but is committed to brewing the most sincere, primitive, and best reflecting the local terroir, so that people from all over the world can taste the unique flavor of local wines.

My wine is focused on the main varieties of the Prekmurie region, especially the indigenous Blue Frank.
The ancient vines, the best sunny, low-yield, and traditional natural-based brewing lay the foundation for the red wine, and incorporate the Pannonia climate, slate terroir and passion for unique wines.
Pure pleasure does not become bleak by modern technology – this is the point of the white wine I make. True qualities are only reflected in very few traditional white wines, and even the most demanding connoisseurs can’t resist this unique charm. Such wines may also have their natural and rough details, but they will definitely remain elegant, and only through low yields and a high degree of inheritance of vineyards and traditional natural brewing can be achieved.
Marof is a winery dedicated to purism. Based on the inheritance of the traditional natural winemaking method, our wine is fermented without adding yeast, then aged in oak barrels, and finally bottled without filtration and clarification. If there is a natural precipitate in the bottle, you should be fortunate, because this is the minimum withdrawal of our brewing.

Cellar
The Marof wine cellar has always followed the traditional natural method to make wine.
All wines are naturally fermented and matured in different sizes of oak barrels.
Far from modern technology, the wines with a unique minerality made by minimalism adhere to the style of bold, upright and pure.
